People who visit our church have told us that they have felt welcome in this warm and caring place. People who join our fellowship have said that it is a good place to belong. Hopefully, all who enter our doors will have a sense of that friendliness and hospitality. Our hope is that Berkeley-Hillside is not only a place where the diverse family of God can gather to love and care for each other, but also a place where all can grow in the Spirit with our Lord, Jesus Christ. In a sense, the church is a place where we can help each other in our spiritual journey as people of God.

At this web site, you will find quite a lot of information about the church. Depending on where you are in your own spiritual journey, some of our groups and programs will have more appeal than others. Most importantly, we hope that you will use this information as sign posts in your own spiritual journey. What interests you? Where do you think God is leading you? We would sincerely like to help you explore these questions further.

The church welcomed The Reverend Kathy Keener-Han as its interim pastor on May 1st. We invite everyone (members, friends of the church, and visitors) to worship God with us, to hear Pastor Kathy’s message, and to get to know her. We thank God that we again have a full time pastor to lead us as we discern what our future mission in the community will be in preparation for calling a permanent pastor.

"Berkeley-Hillside Presbyterian Church has been my church for more than 70 years. It has supported me in times of sorrow and celebrated with me in times of joy. My church continues to light my way in service to God."

- Lucille Filip, BHPC Member

"Berkeley-Hillside Presbyterian Church is the place that reminds me that everything is going to be OK. It is one of the few true communities I have experienced in my life."

- Eric Kmiec, BHPC Member since 2002
