On Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6, Berkeley Hillside Presbyterian Church will be celebrating its 90th anniversary The follwing is a list of scheduled events.
Saturday, May 5
12:30p.m.-2:30 p.m. Old Fashioned Fun
A day of games and refreshments will be served on the church lawn and in the backyard of the manse. Members, friends and neighbors are welcome to join us. In case of rain, all activites will be moved indoors.
Sunday, May 6
9:20 am Celebration Choir
10:00 am Worship with Celebration of the Lord's Supper
10:15-11:15 Church School- Please meet in the church basement choir room for a brief rehearsal. Any one with experience singing in a group or choir is welcome!
Noon- Catered Lunch - No admission charge, but please bring a canned food, dry good, or personal care item for Mother's Day Mission Baskets.
1:30 p.m. Celebration Program - The Soul Providers will present a music program as well as special grettings from church and government officials will be heard. Storytellers and many more activities will take place during this program.
- The first Sunday in of every month is "Can Sunday." Bring in your canned food and clean empty aluminum cans for recycling. Remove the pull tabs for Ronald McDonald House for Loyola Hospital.
- Office hours are Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and closed Friday.
- Please contact the church office if you need pastoral care or someone you know has been hospitalized.
- Bulletin announcements or requests should be in the office by 10 a.m. on Monday morning.
